The Northwood Gratitude and Honor Memorial is located at 4531 Bryan Avenue in Irvine, CA in Southern California. It is about 20 minutes south of Anaheim, an hour south of Los Angeles and one and a half hours north of San Diego.

Name Rubbings

If you would like to do a name rubbing, please stop by the Park Center to request the free materials and instructions, or send an email to info@NorthwoodMemorial.com to arrange for a volunteer to meet you at the Memorial with materials. Just include your name, home and cellphone numbers, the date and approximate time of your visit and the name or names you wish to do rubbings of during your visit. Volunteers live within a 5 minute drive, so it is normally easy to accommodate requests for assistance.

The Memorial is located within the Northwood Community Park. Park Staff is available to answer questions by calling 949-724-6728 during regular park hours.

Driving Directions

The most direct route to the Memorial will include:

• Interstate 5 - Culver Drive (Exit 99)
• Drive NE on Culver Drive approximately 1/2 mile (toward the mountains)
• Turn right onto Bryan Avenue
• Northwood Community Park will on your left in approximately 1/2 mile (intersection of Bryan Avenue and Yale Avenue)

Parking

There are two parking lots - one next to the Park Center building on Bryan Avenue, and another next to the baseball field on Yale Avenue. Street parking is allowed only on Monticello which forms the northeast border of the park. PARKING ALONG BRYAN AVENUE OR YALE AVENUE WILL RESULT IN A PARKING TICKET EXCEPT DURING SCHEDULED CEREMONIES.
